WASHINGTON, March 1, 2015 – Heaven on earth? Graeter’s Handcrafted French Pot ice cream, inarguably bringing the best three flavors possible to the classically rich, cold dessert beloved by many.

Cincinnati-based Graeter’s has announced their 2015 Mystery Flavor: a  Kentucky-inspired “Bourbon Pecan Chocolate Chip.”  The company says the ice cream is “… a harmonious blend of Kentucky bourbon, buttery and roasted pecan halves and dark chocolate.”

Graeter’s introduced this Bluegrass Special at its Louisville and Lexington locations last year. Now it is available at all its locations, online, and in select grocery stores as well.  Online “packs” are 6 and 12 pints each.

The question now becomes, “Do I purchase a six-pack of bourbon-pecan-chocolate-chip; or do I mix it up with some mint chocolate chip, salted caramel, blueberry pie and coffee? The likely answer: Heck, I am going to need a 12 pack. (Now conveniently on sale.)

Too help you pick your favorite flavors, here are some of Graeter’s classic choices.  Take a look. I’ll wait, and occupy my time by thinking maybe I should pick the Bourbon Peach Chocolate Chip with a warm Bourbon sauce drizzle served with either apple pie or bread pudding….mmmmmm.
